In the 80's movie "WarGames," Matthew Broderick plays a teenage computer genius who accidentally stumbles upon a computer that houses a game called "Global Thermalnuclear War." Playing the game, he accidentally launches the United States into war with Russia. To stop the war, he must find the person who programmed the game to get the computer to stop the launch. At the end of the movie, the computer says the famous line, "A strange game. The only winning move is not to play." This classic line not only refers to the game, but can also be applied to the act of war itself.
